C.W.M (Kees) Dolk

CWM Dolk (Kees Dolk)Cornelis Wilhelmus Marie Dolk (1949-2016), studied at the Academy Artibus in Utrecht but decided instead in 1978 to stay in Jalapa, Mexico and New York where he was taught printing techniques at Styria Studio that at the time worked for artists such as Robert Rauschenberg, Alex Katz, Larry Rivers, Willem de Kooning, Gilbert & George and others. Together with Titus Nolte he founded collectief Grafisch Atelier Utrecht. They also formed a painter’s duo. Kees is well known for his monumental works. He often works in primary colors in a direct style without using perspective. He works and lives in France.

Collections that Dolk’s work is represented in include: Centraal Museum Utrecht, ABN AMRO Amsterdam, Randstad Amsterdam, Akzo Nobel Art Foundation Arnhem, Ahold Zaandam, Fortis Amev Utrecht, VSB Fonds Utrecht, ING Bank Amsterdam, De Amersfoortse Verzekeringen Amersfoort, Reaal Verzekeringen Utrecht, Aegon Den Haag, Nederlandse Spoorwegen Utrecht. His work is widely published.
