Paul Corvers
Paul Corvers (‘s-Hertogenbosch, 1953) is well known Dutch painter. He was educated at the Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten St. Joost, Breda (1977-1982). Although first mainly influenced by American abstract expressionism and die Neue Wilden, his work became more sober and serene in later years, mainly under the influence of his growing appreciation for such artists as Piet Mondrian. He is mainly known for his landscapes with an almost abstract quality.
