Anton Homan (Arnhem, 1943) is a well known Dutch artist and educator who specializes in etchings, wood cuts and hardboard cuts, techniques which he has mastered to perfection. Anton is married to artist Jenny Homan and their son Daan Homan also is an artist. Anton was educated at the Akademie voor Beeldende Kunst in Arnhem (1962-1967) where he also taught in the ’70-s and ’80-s. Together with Ferenc Gögös he mainly taught printing techniques. Later on he also taught at Vrije Akademie Nijmegen. In the nineties Anton and his wife jenny had a very successful private institute for art education in Velp. From the ’70-s onward Anton exhibited internationally. In 1976 his work was shown at Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam.
