Arie BerkulinArie Berkulin (Gemert, 1939) is a well known painter and sculptor, aquarellist
and draughtsman who was educated at the academy in Eindhoven. His early sculptures are exact, constructivist and systematic. Later on he would become more and more focussed on reducing volumes and making the spaces in between the mass of the sculptures more prominent. Circle, triangle and square are fixed values in his work.

Work by Berkulin can be found in prominent collections such as:

Museum Beelden aan Zee, Scheveningen, Museum Het Valkhof, Nijmegen, Noordbrabants Museum, Den Bosch, Zeeuws Museum, Middelburg, Stedelijk Museum, Schiedam and many private collections.

Numerous publications about his work have seen the light. Berkulin received several important awards.
