Dick Verdult (Eindhoven, 1954) is a multi-disciplinary artist who has been active as a filmmaker, painter, sculptor and writer amongst other roles. He spent his childhood in Africa and Latin America. He attended Université Paris VIII Vincennes (1973-1976) direction film and art. As a filmmaker he achieved cult status as the ‘post-dadaïst cult artist’ Dick El Demasiado. Dick was active world wide and his work can be found in prominent collections such as: Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven and Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam..
