Jan Henderikse
Jan Henderikse (1937) is one of the most influential Dutch artists to come out of the sixties. He mainly became known for his assemblages made from waste and reject materials and as a member of the Dutch Zero movement: ‘Nul’ (although his work also has affinity with Pop-art). With his esthetic of the banal he quickly gained notoriety as ‘the King of Trash’.
