Jan van Asbeck
Jan van Asbeck (1954) is a Dutch-New-Zealander who works as an abstract painter, and photographer. He studied at the academies of Utrecht (1974 – 1979) and Amsterdam (1979).
Work by Van Asbeck can be found in the collections of such institutions as Centraal Museum, Utrecht, Frans Hals Museum, Haarlem, ABN AMRO and others. Van Asbeck’s work has been exhibited worldwide, notably in Switzerland, the United States and in important galeries and museums in the Netherlands such as Stedelijk Museum Schiedam.
