This piece is directly related to the well known statues that Zweerus made for the municipality of Amsterdam and that can be visited in these locations in the city: Valeriusplein and the ‘Leidsche bosje’ park and also to the statues in the permanent collection of Museum de Fundatie as shown in the sculpture garden of the Nijenhuis estate.
